Jika anda suka mendownload game dengan ukuran besar, tentu sudah sering menemukan file yang ber-ekstensi .iso bukan? File .iso adalah salah satu bentuk file image. Nah, untuk membuka file image tersebut diperlukan sebuah software Virtual Device, seperti Daemon Tools. Tidak hanya dapat membuka file image saja, namun software Daemon Tools ini juga mampu men-convert file image ke ekstensi lainnya, membuat file image, dan memproteksi file image dengan password. Pada versi terbaru ini, Daemon Tools sudah support dengan Windows 8.1, beberapa bug sudah diperbaiki, dan SPTD versi 1.86.

Karna kesibukan kuliah maka dalam beberapa minggu terakhir postingan blog tidak saya update,
namun pada kesempatan kali ini saya akan berbagi tentang Update Offline 1 Windows 8.1
pada update ini.penantian pengguna terjawab sudah ,karena dalam update 1 ini terdapat beberapa fitur yang berubah atau bertambah menjadi lebih baik. Fitur tersebut adalah adanya tombol shutdown yang berada di start screen (layar mulai), juga metode pengaturan start screen yang berubah yaitu untuk mengatur besar kecil tiles dapat menggunakan klik kanan dan juga aplikasi Metro dapat dibuka dari desktop dan juga dapat di pin(sematkan) di taskbar. Selain beberapa update yang terlihat , ada juga beberapa update system yang penting lainnya dan diklain bahwa update 1 ini membuat komputer terasa ringan dalam pemakaiannya.

Memang Microsoft menyarankan untuk update Windows 8.1 ini dilakukan secara official dalam artian menggunakan Windows Update. Namun bagi pengguna yang kurang memadai dalam hal instruktur internet atau koneksi yang tidak stabil dapat melakukan update Windows 8.1 secara offline. Terdapat beberapa fileyang harus didownload dari situs Microsoft dan dapat di download menggunakan download manager. Nah, Berikut ini Tutorial Cara Update Windows 8.1 Update 1 Secara Offline :

1. Buat Restore Point
Langkah ini dapat dilewati , tetapi untuk berjaga - jaga jika update gagal maka system dapat dikembalikan seperti sebelum di update. Jika anda belum mengerti cara membuat system restore silakan baca dulu di sini.

2. Download file file berikut
Terdapat 6 file untuk melakukan update
Untuk update , versi Windows 8.1 yang x86 atau x64 tertu berbeda file updatenya, jadi anda perlu memperhatikan versi windows anda , jangan sampai salah

Untuk Windows 8.1 x86 (32-bit) : KB2919442 | KB2919355 | KB2932046 | KB2937592 | KB2938439 | KB2934018

Untuk Windows 8.1 x64 (64-bit) : KB2919442 | KB2919355 | KB2932046 | KB2937592 | KB2938439 | KB2934018

3. Install File Update
Setelah file update terinstall semuanya, kemudaian update file tersebut satu per satu. Urutan install nya sebagai berikut : KB2919442 > KB2919355 > KB2932046 > KB2937592 > KB2938439 > KB2934018 . untuk urutan install harus diperhatikan jangan sampai terbalik. Sebaiknya setelah menginstaal satu file update langsung direboot kemudian instaal file update selanjutnya dan seterusnya.

Update tersebut hanya untuk pengguna Windows 8.1 bukan untuk Windows 8 , Jadi jika anda masih menggunakan Windows 8 maka anda harus memperbarui sistem operasi anda ke Windows 8.1

Membuat System Restore di Windows 7 dan 8

System Restore adalah fitur yang penting di Microsoft Windows , karena kita dapat mengembalikan keadaan system komputer termasuk pengaturan pengaturan , ke keadaan saat system restore itu dibuat. System restore ini juga bisa menjadi pilihan pertama untuk memperbaiki komputer yang error karena kesalahan sistem komputer maupun karena virus. Jadi sebelum anda memutuskan untuk install ulang sistem operasi , alangkah baiknya untuk mencoba sistem restore.

Untuk menggunakan System Restore sebelumnya kita perlu untuk membuat titik restore atau Restore Point. Jadi titik ini akan menjadi titik dimana komputer tersebut dikembalikan keadaan seperti sesaat sebelum Restore point dibuat. Untuk membuat restore point tidak terlalu sulit , untuk lebih jelasnya silahkan baca tutorial Membuat Restore Point di Windows 7, 8 maupun 8.1 :

1. Buka System Protection
Untuk membuka sistem restore , buka Control Panel > System and Security > System atau bisa juga dengan menekan Tombol Windows dan tombol Pause Break secara bersamaan. Setelah panel terbuka perhatikan sisi sebelah kiri, di sana akan terdapat baris salah satunya System Protection, lalu klik pada System Protection tersebut.

2. Create Sistem Restore
Setelah melakukan langkah pertama ,kemudian akan muncul sebuah jendela yang bernama system protection. Lihat pada judul Protection Settings , pilih local disk yang anda inginkan, jika system di install di local disk c maka pilih Local Disk C tersebut. Selanjutnya klik tombol "Create"

3. Beri Nama untuk Restore Point
Beri nama restore point yang sesuai yang anda inginkan, sebaiknya diberi nama yang membantu , seperti "habis install office" atau "PC normal" , agar nanti saat menggunakan system restore , mudah dalam memilih restore point nya. Setelah memberi nama kemudian Klik Create , dan tunggu beberapa saat sampai muncul pesan "The restore point was created successfully"

Selamat Restore Point anda telah berhasil dibuat, dan dapat digunakan sebagai berjaga-jaga jika komputer error. Sebaiknya membuat Restore Point secara berkala seperti setiap seminggu satu kali.
